Luxe faux fur cowl in Blonde Elk and Acadia

This is the luxe faux fur cowl by Stephanie Lau of ‘All about Ami’. It is a kit purchased from Lion brand. It included 2 balls of Go For Faux yarn and 2 balls of Heartland yarn in your choice of colors. This is knitted in Blonde Elk (Go For Faux) and Acadia (Heartland).

This knit took longer than I thought. The faux fur side knits up quick. The other side seemed like took forever. One thing Ms. Lau did not mention in the pattern is you really need to knit the faux fur side longer in order to fit the yarn side inside when you sew. If knitted the same length, the faux fur side really does not stretch to accomodate the length of the yarn piece.

This is a very cozy and soft piece, I like it a lot and this project is cheap. I paid about $20 on sale. Looking forward to knitting it in another color.
